American Idol: JLO out, Mariah Carey in

Jennifer Lopez has announced Friday that she is quitting as an American idol judge after two seasons - Steven Taylor has also made the same announcement. There is a lot of speculation as to who will their replacements be. Mariah Carey has been confirmed as one of the replacements. This was announced on Ryan Seacrest's radio show. Randy is Mariah's manager and since he is bringing her in - things might work out in terms of time management. JLO had an acting career before this and now that she is out, this is a path she can return to. Ryan of course will have to be around for another two years as stipulated by his contract. Randy Jackson will remain the only steady judge on 'Idol'.

Kim Kardashian has Psoriasis is now the hottest search on Google

Was wondering what people are searching for on Google Trends and found one trend which was on Fire( US Searches). Kim Kardashian has been diagnosed with psoriasis which is an incurable disease. The disease manifests itself as red flaky patches on the skin and  not life threatening. it is just a condition for which many treatments are available. It is incurable but can be controlled. On Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim was diagnosed with psoriasis.


It was first discovered by bloggers when the reality star stepped out on July 19th. Red spots were seen on her calves and pictures and photographs of the same began to circulate on the internet. The reality star says she is worried because she makes a living by showing skin and adding or loosing a pound makes headlines with the tabloids. Her mom also had the same at age 30 and it can be passed down genetically. 


This search on Google is listed as red hot and you can see why, with 5% of all searches coming from New York. The reality star can't do without her looks and a disease like this can cause some trouble although it is not really harmful.

Vin Diesel With hair trending today

Vin Diesel is on the Trending Topics on Twitter again today and for a couple of reasons. People are wishing him a happy birthday but he was born on the 16th so that is a bit off. There are also people tweeting about Vin Diesel with hair and yes we have the photo right here for you. Then there are a few Chuck Norris type jokes being thrown in. But the main reason could be because there has been a release data announced for fast and Furious 6, but that too is old news. Then there are some female users who are tweeting physical attributes of the star with things like 'would like me some Vin Diesel'.

Well one of main reasons he is a TT on Twitter is there are photos of him with hair floating around the internet and the news that he will be acting in a movie with hair and news of the Riddik sequel. 

Vin Diesel has been planning to return for a third "Chronicles of Riddick" installment, called "Riddick." It is now set to begin filming in September and as a birthday present to Vin Diesel, "Riddick" director David Twohy sent him a piece of concept art for the movie.


Diesel posted the art on his Facebook page along with a "thank you" for all the birthday wishes. "You all know how much I love concept art, well DT sent me an image for my birthday that I had to share," he wrote. Check out the art below.

Coldplay is now a trending on Twitter as a promoted tweet. Promoted Tweets are those which a paid for by an advertiser and appear on the top of the trending topics list on Twitter. Coldplay is now being promoted by the iTunesfestival happening in London. You can follow the follow the festival on Twitter by using the hashtag #iTunesFestival. It stands to reason that in the Summer of the Sequel, what passes for the standout cinematic release of the season is a trailer. For a sequel.

But when the promo is for "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" (which will arrive in two parts, in November and next July) the click frenzy is understandable: For people who were 10 or 11 in 2001, when the first "Harry Potter" movie came out, the trailer arrives as bittersweet confirmation of the inevitable end of their youth.
"Harry Potter, the boy who lived -- come to die," Voldemort intones as the just-released trailer opens. That shiver you feel is an era passing. The Potter kids may not be facing death, but as young adults they confront a confounding and uncertain future. By next summer, when the series finally ends after eight installments, just maybe they will have begun to discover some of their own powers.
The trailer bills "Deathly Hallows" as "The Motion Picture Event of a Generation." For once, we believe the hype.
