eBay Fashion App for the iPhone

eBay has a new fashion App for the iPhone. The App gives users access to new, designer, branded and vintage merchandise, with millions of listings to clothes shoes and accessories.

Simply open the application to start window shopping right away. From the homescreen you can check out the virtual style gallery showcasing the latest trends. Once you see something you like you can then tap on the item and browse similar items.

You can also assess eBay's exclusive fashion vault for limited time sales on converted designer ramps. If you have an idea of what your looking for you can browse through popular categories. Even shop vintage by decade.

You can search for what your looking for and then try it on, on a picture of you or a picture you choose from your iPhone. And see how it looks. You can check out and try everything on on the virtual you.

Another cool feature is the ability to browse though multiple listings and gallery view. You can also share these listings with your friends on email, Facebook or Twitter. Use this App to virtually build your outfits and try stuff on before you decide to buy.

Google's voice App arrives for the iPhone.

Google has realeased an App for the iPhone. Yes, Google voice has now come to the iPhone. google.com/voice/m.

The new Web service works on iPhones running the 3.0 operating system. It also works on on Palm's WebOS for user with the Palm Pre.
The new mobile-specific Web site for Google Voice is app-like in key ways. It's fast and it can use local storage, so it doesn't have to load in your entire Google Voice inbox every time you launch it. There's a dialer and a directory (tied in to your Google account) for looking people up. And, finally, you don't have to deal with Google Voice's dial-around service (where, to make a connection, the Google Voice service dials both the person you are calling as well as your phone). Through some telco trickery, Google Voice dials out from your phone, and displays your Voice account's phone number as the caller ID the phone of the person you're calling.

Facebook take down Defriended iPhone App for tracking friends who remove you

Most Social Netoworking sites will let you know when you have a friend request but few will let you know when you have been unfriended. If we can use that word. Being Defriended is one thing most users like to find out about. Unfortunately on Facebook if you want to know who has defriended you you need to browse through your list of friends and find the missing person.

An iPhone App launched about a week ago was able to do just that. Let you know when you've been defriended and by whome. The App Called Defriended created by  i-Doodz has unfortunalty been blocked by Facebook. As it violates Facebook's Developers platform policies which states " you must not notify a user that someone has removed the user as a friend." In other words, Facebook doesn't want you to know who doesn't want to be your friend ".

Today, a message on the i-Doodz site states:

Last week our developer was bored one evening, had an idea, and a few hours later uploaded the "defriended" iPhone app. it unexpectedly got a lot of attention, then subsequently Facebook blocked the app, causing it to stop working. We will be looking at how feasible it is to make the app work without a corresponding facebook app, but in the meantime if you've bought the app you should ask apple for a refund - and please do...we don't really want to get money for an app you paid for and that doesn't work. We apologise for the inconvenience.

If you really want to know which of your friends have removed you as a friend, you are better off using the Facebook friend checker greasemonkey script which Facebook can't block. Any service which attempts to use Facebook's API for the purpose of notifying users about those friends who've defriended them are typically banned. Yes, being unfriended is extremely commonplace.

iPhone pocket heat App simmers down

iPhone App provides heat. Pocket heat turns your iPhone or iPod Touch into a pocket heater by use of maximum CPU processing power. There is also an onscreen slider that allows you to adjust the heat levels. Well that was in the past. What Pocket Heat actually does now is that it lights up the screen with a mellow warm glow  and has no heating capabilities and battery drain. According to the iTune's store. It mearly features warming effects and soothing music.

Pocket Heat does not work in the traditional sense of generating heat but just shows pictures of a heater on screen. Consumers would never use it had it drained their batteries and CPU power. Besides over heating in the past has caused a lot of problems.
