White Sand Dunes | Brazil's Lençóis Maranhenses National Park | By Gianni Monterzino


Please click on image to expand. The sands are white and look like snow from a distance. This is not a desert as the area gets regular rain. The reason there are no plants might be because there is not enough nutrients in the sand. All the regular rainwater collects into pools and form gorgeous lagoons.
