Google wants to stream TV for a fee

That's what is being reported. that Google is in talks with major players to allow it to live-stream TV shows the day after it airs for a Fee.

"YouTube already lets users watch a smattering of TV shows for free, with advertising. Now it envisions something similar to what Apple and Amazon already offer: First-run shows, without commercials, for $1.99 an episode, available the day after they air on broadcast or cable."

However there maybe a stumbling block with Google wanting to stream it and not allow consumers to download the videos.

All shows will be shown without ads.

At the same time, Apple itself is rumored to be breaking away from the pay-per-show model and could offer a $30 subscription that would provide unlimited or near-unlimited TV shows each month.
