Evan Williams Twitter's CEO Tweeted a few hours ago
Across all metrics that matter, yesterday was Twitter's highest-usage day ever. (And today will be bigger.)
Continuing it's spiraling usage from Christmas day when Twitter hit the No.1 spot for the most visited site that day pushing Google to No.2. The feat was again repeated on new year's day.
The Tweet sent out by Evans a few hours ago might surprise analyst who have been saying that Twitter has hit a slump.
So as it is set now Wednesday is supposed to be Twitter's highest usage day ever. let's wait and see. We will report on this further.
Whatever may be the situation Twitter's users have settled in and are comfortable with the service enough to push it to the next level.
