29.3 percent of American Households do not have a Savings Account [Report]

According to report by the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp, 29.3 American households do not have a savings or banking account. This after the aftermath of one of the worst recessions to hit globally. The study further finds that 821,000 households opted out of the banking system in 2012. Which further states that 17 million American adults do not have a savings or a checking account.
