Yeah this looks terrifying, imagine skiing on a nice mountina slope and all of a sudden you go past a mountain lion. Well here is the mystery solved for you. it's on Success at Deer Valley, Utah. It's actually a taxidermied lion that is put on the path by the people that own it to scare the living daylight out of people who ski by. [Image source]
