Connecting two major social sites can have its advantages and disadvantages. If you have added Skype to your Facebook account and connected them so that you can chat with our Facebook friends on Skype. It can sometimes get kind of distracting and irritating. It makes a lot of sense to disconnect your Skype from Facebook and use your connections as they were originally meant to be. 1. Login to Skype
2. From the top menu click on View
3. From the drop-down click on Skype Home
4. Click on the blue cog icon found on the extreme right
5. Click on 'Disconnect Facebook Friends
6. You're done
How to unlink Facebook and Skype using Facebook
1. Login to Facebook
2. Click on the down-arrow next to home and choose privacy settings
3. Beside Ads, Apps and Websites click on 'edit Settings'
4. beside Apps you use click on edit settings again (You need to open the page that has all your apps)
5. Find Skype and Click on edit beside it
6. Click on 'Remove App' top right-hand corner, confirm and you're done.
