The daredevil Nik Wallender has successfully completed crossing the grand canyon, 1.500 meters above the ground on a tightrope. Thus happened at the Little Colorado River Gorge near the Grand Canyon. The official time is 22 minutes and 54 seconds that he took to cross the quarter-mile tightrope 1,500 feet above the canyon. He could he heard praying to Jesus constantly and saying,
thank you Jesus, thank you lord. This stunt comes a year after he completed crossing the Niagara Falls - that time he was tethered to a safety harness. This time in true fashion to his family he walked the tightrope with no safety harness or any other support.
The
video below shows you the complete walk and is sure quite astounding. 13 minutes into the walk there is a heavy breeze and he kneels down on the rope, the second time is at 22:33 to blow a kiss to his fans. He used a 2 inch think cable to do the walk and completes is great style as he runs along the rope.
