Turn off Spotify notifications on Facebook



You know how you find that your Facebook ticker has a whole lot of notifications from Spotify and each time one of your friends listen to a track it shows up in your sidebar ticker. If you're wondering how to turn off Spotify notifications on Facebook, please follow the instructions below.

How to Turn off, Stop or Disable Spotify notifications on Facebook.
1. Login to Facebook
2. Click on the Spotify notifications
3. Once the window pops out hover over the right-hand side of the window
4. When the down arrow appears click on it
5. From the options choose 'Hide all from Spotify'
6. You're done

If you do not want your Spotify notifications from showing up all over your friends Facebook ticker and you want to stop Spotify from posting to your Facebook ticker. This is what you would need to do.

1. When you login to Spotify, in the People Pane on the right-hand side of the screen.
2. Click the Cog icon.
3. Select Disable Posting to Facebook.

If you want to completely remove yourself from this whole circus you can click on File and then 'Disconnect from Facebook'. Following the above mentioned methods will help you stop Spotify from either broadcasting the songs you're listening to. It will also stop you from receiving Spotify updates in your sidebar.

So no matter what the occasion you can always find a playlist to suit the mood. Whether it's a part or you simply want to listen to your favorite artist Digster has a playlist for you. There are three categories of playlists you can find on the site. 


So how does the Spotify playlists work on Digster
If you’re already a Spotify user it’s easy to stay updated with Digster. All you need to do is open a Digster playlist in Spotify and click the +Subscribe button. This will subscribe you to the playlist so it will be automatically updated as we add tracks. (You may have to re-start Spotify for these updates to appear.)


You can login right now with your favorite social media profile and start listening. The site has 3 categories of playlists.
Live: Dedicated to live action follow the latest releases and the what's new as it get out into the market. will go through regular updates
Digster By: are playlists the are created by some of the biggest names in the music industry
Standard:  Playlist the remain the same and are standard with no change.

What is Spotify and how does it work

Spotify is a Swedish based company well known in Europe after it launched in 2008. With users from Sweden, France, UK, Netherlands and Finland numbering over 10 million and over 1 million paid customers. The service is cloud-based and offers users free access to listen to over 15 million songs and counting. You can listen to songs online for free and choose from 15 million you can also then share songs and playlists with your friends. This comes to you for free but you will need to listen to radio styled Ads for the service. For the first six months you can listen to unlimited music but after that you are restricted to 10 hours per month.  if you do not want Ads then you can become a paying customer.
