Leisure Dive - Seeks to be the new planking


Well after the internet fad there have been a whole lot of out similar movements to become the next internet meme. We have seen Owling, Batting and Horsemaning - which the newest of the lot. Leisure Diving has also been proposed as the new planking on the internet. To be fair though it is not like planking and deserves it's own fame and name. 


How to leisure dive: To get a successful photo of yourself leisure diving you would need to jump into a body of water striking a 'leisure pose' in mid-air. The photographer would need to capture the image when your hips are parallel to the water to get a good leisure dive.


The folks over at www.leisuredive.com can give you some more guidance if you need to. 


What to do with your leisure dive pic. Well you can submit it to the guys at leisuredive.com 0r submit to their Facebook page. You can also share with all your FB, Twiter and other social networking friends. This is post that can go into your family album and shared among all your social connection. Twitter Breaking News: Caribbean Airlines plane crashes in Guyana, no fatalities [Photo]


After overshooting the runway a Caribbean Airlines plane crashed and split into two. There have been no deaths but a few injuries. It barely missed a 200-foot ravine which could have ended in a lot of fatalities. Authorities have closed the Airport and most of the passengers fled the plane leaving their luggage behind. . The plane BW 523 left New York stopped over at Trinidad before landing in Guyana. The plane was carrying 153 passengers on board. Poor visibility and rain might have been the cause for the pilot overshooting and landing the plane halfway down the runway. The news is breaking fast on Twitter and people are now using the topic 'Caribbean Airlines' to spread news of the plane that broke in half.

Justin Bieber tops the worldwide image search on Google






Wondering what Google's image search is being used for right now, well it should not come as a surprise, it is the same on Twitter and wherever else you go, Justin Bieber. Justin seems to be ruling the internet image search and there Google is calling this search breakout as it is so high. All these search are being followed closely by searches for Justin Bieber's girlfriend Selena Gomez. Among the top most image searches related to him two stand out very strongly. 'Justin Beiber and Dad's matching Hebrew tattoos' and 'Justin Bieber wedding crasher'. 


Recently released photos show father and son on a recent trip to Israel where they got identical tattoos done on their torsos. They got the name 'Yeshua' done which means Jesus in Hebrew. The wedding crasher story goes like this, Justin and Selena were having a romantic dinner date at a restaurant on Malibu beach when they heard his music playing at some nearby nuptials. The couple ventured over, leaving the bride and groom and their guests stunned.

Photorank.me: What it is and how does it work

If you like to share photos online through popular social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter Photorank.me will use an algorithm and tell you how popular your photos are on a scale from 1-100. You can login using your twitter or Facebook or Twitter to get started and once in you can analyze all your photos. Once in you can also login using your Flickr, Instagram or picplz account. The ranking on the site gives precedence to the last 21 days. 



Photorank.me analyzes all your photos and takes into account all the likes and comments your photos have generated. You can also browse the site for people who you know or generally search for people with a high score. A high score means that the person obviously takes some good shots or at least shares photos that generate a lot of interest. 


So are you a social photographer and are you well-liked as well. Do you photos generate a lot of interest if so you can see how you stack-up against your buddies and other photographers. Also if you are into photography this is an excellent site to find users with high scores and browse through their photographs. There are some excellent photos to check and worth your time. When you see a users photos and would like to connect with the person. There are links to the users account from which the photos have been taken. So if it from Flickr you will see a link to their Flickr account. This way you can to connect with other users who have the same interests as you. 



There are three parameters on the site that is used to judge photo popularity

1. Reach: Measures how many different people interact with your photos

2. Activity: Measure how often you share photos on the internet

3. Quality: Measure how many votes and comments each of your photos receive.



The leadership top 50 can be found on the world leaderboard. 



If you are not happy with the service you can always unlink the account you joined the service with.

Photos: Skype's new Stockholm office

Skype has a lot of good things happening, after being acquired by Microsoft, Facebook announced their new video chat feature powered and enabled by Skype. They also have a new office in Stockholm, Sweden. The office was designed by PS Arkitektur. The trendy new office looks really cool and out there.
