The Essential Mobile App Trends to Watch in 2019

The field of Android and iOS mobile app development is constantly changing. Providing
users with optimal experiences requires staying up-to-date with new trends.

The following will be some of the most noteworthy in 2019. If you’re a developer, or simply someone with an interest in this field, be sure to pay attention to them this year.

Artificial Intelligence’s Role Grows

AI innovations such as machine learning allow apps to provide users with personalized experiences by analyzing their behavior. This is important, as surveys indicate customers want personalized service from businesses. Machine learning solutions let businesses provide it.

Chatbots Take Over

Chatbots can also improve the user experience in various ways. For example, they can help users search for key features within an app. They can also take over basic customer service tasks that human employees otherwise would have handled. Chatbots can even reach out to users directly to alert them to new features or promotions. Thanks to improvements in natural language processing, voice-based chatbots will be just as feasible as text-based chatbots in 2019.

Augmented Reality Becomes Even More Popular

Pokemon Go! was no fluke. Although the media craze may be over, the game still earns nearly a billion dollars in annual revenue.

Users clearly enjoy the dynamic experiences AR provides. Businesses will take notice, leveraging AR to improve everything from marketing campaigns to ecommerce shops.

More Customers Embrace Wearables

Wearable devices aren’t just fitness trackers anymore. Major organizations such as Uber have developed apps for wearable devices to offer users a greater degree of convenience. It’s highly likely other businesses will also explore the potential of this technology in 2019.

The Rise of Accelerated Mobile Pages & Instant Apps

Mobile browsing is now more popular than desktop browsing. Thus, it’s important for mobile sites to perform reliably. Developers will meet this need by creating accelerated mobile pages for businesses and organizations. AMPs are streamlined pages that are designed to load quickly, encouraging users to stay on your site.

Instant apps will serve a similar purpose. Unlike traditional apps, users don’t need to download them to access them. They’re also smaller than typical mobile apps. This will help businesses offer mobile experiences to users who may not be inclined to download another app to their devices.

Increased Focus on Security

Security is always important when developing a mobile app. However, users will prioritize it to an even greater degree in 2019 due to recent data breaches.

The rise of fintech will also contribute to an increased emphasis on security. Since fintech apps use and store sensitive financial information, customers need to be certain they’re safe. Making a point to develop security measures will help clients feel comfortable trusting and interacting with your brand.

Beacons Will Be Everywhere

Beacon tech isn’t new. Macy’s recently used it to attract guests during the busy holiday shopping season. However, beacons will soon be commonplace in many public spots, from airports to shopping malls. Developers will do their part by focusing on creating effective beacon-based apps.

Even More On-Demand Apps

There’s no turning back from the on-demand revolution. Now that consumers know they can request services via convenient mobile apps, they’ll want that type of convenience whenever, and wherever, possible.

Developers who pay attention to these trends in 2019 will be more likely to create products that offer unbeatable user experiences. Again, success in this field involves staying on top of new developments. The ones listed here are poised to have a major impact on the industry this year.

How Artificial Intelligence is Making an Impact on Businesses

How Artificial Intelligence is Making an Impact on Businesses

When people think of artificial Intelligence, they usually think of the ways that it is represented in movies and books. Unfortunately, these are not always pleasant representations. It’s usually something like killer robots trying to take over the world or an AI system that goes wrong and starts harming people.
While this might make for entertaining fiction, the reality of artificial intelligence is very different. Modern businesses use technologies like AI and machine learning to help them make better decisions. For example, a company can use an AI chatbot to help provide better customer support and product designers harness machine learning  to develop products that will better serve consumers.
With recent advances in technology, machine learning has come a long way in the last few years, and business leaders have starting to recognize the potential. We are seeing unprecedented growth in the level of investment in AI and machine learning technologies, and we are starting to see some of the new ways that companies are applying these technologies to improve their business.

Applications for AI

Artificial Intelligence is already in use in many industries. AI probably affects your life in a number of different ways, and you may not even realize it. The following are a few examples of different ways that modern businesses are using AI technology.

Chatbots

AI chatbots have changed the world of customer service. With the development of more advanced language processing systems, these chatbots are more useful than they have ever been, and more customers are starting to prefer using them. In a recent study, 70% of respondents said that they already prefer chatbots for simpler interactions.

Self-Driving Cars

Several companies are already developing self-driving vehicles, and it is only a matter of time before these vehicles become a common part of everyday life. Even traditional automobile manufacturers are getting in on the race to build driverless cars. Ford recently made a major investment in Argo AI as a step toward developing the systems that will power their driverless vehicles.

Face Recognition

Face recognition systems use AI technologies like machine learning to provide security for mobile devices and online accounts. Apple’s iPhone X is one such example of how this technology is being brought to consumers, but you also have companies like Google that are investing heavily in AI systems that support face recognition.

Marketing

Artificial intelligence is set to have a major impact on the world of marketing in the near future. With predictive analytics, marketing firms will be able to develop better content, target customers more precisely, and make budgeting decisions that are informed by the most recent information.
These are just a few of the ways that AI is already being used by businesses. You also have banks that are using it to make decisions on investments, hospitals that use AI to provide better healthcare, and engineering firms that use these technologies to improve the design process.

Examples of AI being used by Businesses

Some of the world’s best-known companies are already using AI. Let’s take a look at a few of the ways that large businesses are using this technology.
Pinterest
Pinterest is a site that is all about helping users find the content that interests them. With machine learning, Pinterest is able to provide better and more accurate recommendations, and this helps to keep the site’s millions of monthly active users engaged.
Pinterest uses an algorithm to find the content that users want to engage with, and this algorithm is continually being refined using a machine learning program that analyzes billions of user interactions.

Amazon

Much of the future of smart technology is going to depend on users giving voice commands to AI devices. One such device is Alexa, the digital personal assistant from Amazon.
One challenge for Alexa and other devices that rely on voice commands is the ability of the AI system to understand and respond to language in a way that is natural. Machine learning is one of the keys to offering better voice command services. Companies like Amazon use machine learning to analyze vast amounts of user data that can then be used to improve the language capabilities of services like Alexa.

Netflix

As one of the world’s largest media streaming services, Netflix relies on making smart decisions about the content they provide to their users. With machine learning, Netflix is able to analyze user data to help them gain insights into the content preferences and viewing habits of consumers.
With the insights provided by machine learning, Netflix can then use their budget to deliver more content that users will enjoy. Additionally, Netflix uses machine learning to help the service in providing the best recommendations for users.

These are just a few of the businesses that are using machine learning to improve their services and make better decisions. With more companies recognizing the importance of AI and machine learning, we are going to see continued growth in investment in these technologies, and we are going to start to see more ways that businesses are using AI to get an edge on the competition.

These are the types computers used in movie and music piracy

Please click on image to expand. So if you're wondering how piracy of movies and music videos are done in counties where it's rampant. There is something called 'Cloning Towers'. What these are, are PCs setup for the sole purpose of burning DVDs and CDs. A pirate will buy an original movie and then rip it and mass burn it using these towers. Use one of these towers and in 30 minutes you have 8 clones. You can see some of the CD trays are open. This is because after cloning the discs, the trays will open to make for easy removal and inserting of new discs. These look like desktops but they are not; basically no OS and no video. Just a little text screen and a lot of CD burners. [Image Source

This is what an ATM Card Skimmer looks like

Please click on images to expand. Reddit user Wujubird visited an ATM, and was smart enough to realize that the whole front panel had been replaced with a Skimmer. Basically what a Skimmer does is records your ATM Pin and then can match it to your card number. This information is stored within a chip in the Skimmer. These scammers can later use for fraudulent activities. To protect yourself the next time you use an ATM. Look at the front panel and make sure everything is in place. If there are any cracks anywhere, then there is a problem. The pic above you notice that the place you insert your card is protruding out. This is not normal. The phone jack does not fit properly. Also if you notice anything suspicious about the pad you are about to punch you information on. It's safer to call the bank and not use the ATM. There is a seal on each front section of every ATM machine. Look to make sure there is nothing broken and odd and ends of plastic sticking out. The pics below show you the slot where you insert your card sticking out and not like any normal machine, as seen in the last pic. This skimmer was placed by replacing the whole front panel on this machine. [Source here and Here]
