The first official iPhone 5 Ad from Apple

The official ad for the iPhone 5 is now available on YouTube. This after all the fuss made by Samsung and ads for its GS3. Where in addition to other things said that the screen was larger than the iPhone 5 and that the next big thing is already here. The ad for the iPhone 5 is however really cleaver and it's titled Apple - iPhone 5 - TV Ad - Thumb. It shows the range of the human thumb and how the iPhone 5 has been designed with a touchscreen to exactly fit that range. The obvious message is that screens much larger don't really fit that range and therefore become quite inconvenient. Take a look at the ad and let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.

iOS 6: How to take a panoramic photo with iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S

iPhone Camera with Panorama

The new iPhone 5 has been released and the updated iOS 6 operating system is being updated on countless devices. Once of the fun features of the new iOS 6 is the ability to take Panorama photos. Panoramic photos are about 8640 x 1881 pixels and therefore quiet large. it allows you however to take beautiful shots of landscapes, friends at a party, your garden and just about anywhere and any location. So how does Panorama work.

Panoramic Shots: How do they work
You point at an image and then move your camera to take a series of images. If you did not have panorama you would need to join  photos together before being able to combine them into one whole. With Panorama you can just pan and your phone will take a services of photos while combining it as one. A simple and beautiful concept.

How to Take a Panorama Photo on the iPhone in iOS 6.
You can take panoramic photos using your iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S
1. On your iPhone open up your camera
2. Tap on options and then panorama
3. Your phone goes into panorama mode.
4. tap the shutter button and move your iPhone continuously while keeping the arrow along the white line.
5. Tap done when your over and there you have it.

Samsung Ad 'The Next Big Thing' [Video]

iPhone 5

It seems Samsung is relentlessly pursuing Apple Fanboys -- going after the iPhone 5. just a few days ago Samsung ran a print ad called ' It doesn't take a genius'. The ad does a comparison between the iPhone 5 and the Samsung Galaxy s III. Well the latest is a video called 'The next big thing is already here' - this time poking fun at the people waiting in line outside the Apple stores wiating to be the first to get their hands on the all new iPhone 5. The video cleverly shows how the Galaxy S 3 already has features that the iPhone 5 will be coming with and some features that have not yet come to the iPhone. For instance the large screen that the iPhone 5 is getting is already there on the S3, 4G LTE connectivity already available. Samsung also references the phone as 'GS3' bringing about the hip quotient. The biggest dog seems to be the guy who is waiting in line reserving a spot for his parents. This jibe at the iPhone 5 to show that the next big thing is already here and the iPhone 5 is already old before it comes out. So will the ad have an impact, let us know in the comments section below.

Does the iPhone 5 come with Laser Keyboard, Holographic Display

So does the iPhone 5 come with a laser keyboard and holographic images. Fox 5 New York news apparently got something wrong when their reporter, went down to the Apple store on 5th avenue -- lovingly called 'The Cube'. The iPhone 5 comes out only on Friday and while interviewing people waiting in line, said something that was totally not true. That the iPhone 5 will come with a laser keyboard and holographic images. Promoting many users to called the iPhone 5 laser keyboard, fake. As it is not real real, the same goes with Holographic display which is not real. While doing the interview she says the new phone is sleeker and a laser keyboard and holographic images. While saying this a concept video found on YouTube which is more than a year old is played. The video shows the phone with laser keyboard and holographic display. This however was a concept video and the real iPhone 5 does not come with laser keyboard and holographic display. Check the videos below and spot the blunder for yourself.

iPhone 5 vs Samsung Galaxy S 3

Samsung the Korean company released a print ad over the weekend taking a shot at the iPhone 5. The ad is called 'It doesn't take a genius' -- and listed below are features of the iPhone 5 compared to the Samsung Galaxy S III. The S 3 is now considered the main competitor of the iPhone 5 and there is also a rumor that Samsung will have the Samsung Galaxy S 4 available by March 2013. The S 3 to its credit has sold more than 20 million copies worldwide. The iPhone 5 however has already surpassed 2 million in pre-orders, with the phone being available on Friday. The Galaxy 3 III last month became the top selling SmartPhone in the US. Apple fanboys however were not amused with the ad and retaliated with their own versions of the Ad.

Get the new YouTube App for iOS 6 and iPhone 5 [How-to]

YouTube App for iOS 6

Pre-orders of the iPhone 5 have already sold out and the iOS 6 is just days away from landing on people's phones. One thing that the new iPhone and iOS will not come with is the stock YouTube app. There are many reasons for this and the main one being the fierce competition between Google and Apple - a number of lawsuits persist between the two companies. Apple did announce that YouTube will come out with its own standalone app -- that is just what happened. Just days ahead of the release of iOS 6 YouTube launched its new stand-alone app in the app in the app store. The older stock version of YouTube available for the iPhone, iPad and iPod is something most users are familiar with. The new app however has added features and capabilities that make using it all the more better.

Improved features found on the new YouTube app for iOS.
You can now browse channels you have subscribed to by swiping right from the left side of the screen.
New options for sharing videos with your Facebook and Google+ friends.
The search bar now comes with auto-suggestions and voice-search option.
Once you log-in using the pop-up screen you can design your YouTube homepage to display options that you want.
Subscribe button available below each video
You can play video both in-play and full-screen mode.

TC further makes these bold assumptions that the iPhone 5 Announcement date will be on Sept 21, expected pre-order date also September 21 and the launch date as confirmed by a trusted Verizon Employee will be Friday September 21.

iPhone 5 is also trending on Twitter with a video titled 'LEAKED Official Apple iPhone 5 Promo Video - Keynote 2012', the video available on YouTube is just a spoof by Adam Sacks and follows the usual protocol of Apple release videos. The video is a complete spoof and quiet entertaining. There have been a lot of rumors floating around on the net with the anticipation of the new iPhone 5. Apple must be quite happy with all the press and social media presence the new iPhone has already received. Take a look at the leaked picture above of the new iPhone 5 with a larger screen.
