2CELLOS: Smells Like Teen Spirit & Smooth Criminal [Music]

2Cellos is a Croatian cello duo consisting of Luka Šulić and Stjepan Hauser. The two got together and uploaded  a cello cover of Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal. Which did receive a fair amount on YouTube video views online. Since then there has been no turning back for the talented duo. The idea of this post came about because their cover of Nirvana's 'Smells like teen spirit' has made it to the front page of Reddit and has already received about 500 comments. Their debut studio album covers a lot of rock songs but nonce has received as much recognition as 'Smells like teen spirit'. The 2 cellos have done a fantastic job of covering the hit Nirvana single that critiques say defined the music style of an entire generation. So check the video out below and leave a comment with your feedback on 2Cellos. Check out the post on Reddit here.

Pig rescues baby goat stuck in water [Video]

Pig rescues baby goat stuck in water

Here is one cute video to start your day with or brighten up your day. A baby goat gets stuck in water at the zoo. You can hear someone say 'goat in the water', you'd expect the zoo keeper to show up and rescue the goat. That did not happen in jumped the pig and took the goat to safety. As far as cute animal videos go - this is definitely one video worth viewing. Many comments below this YouTube videos say that Pigs are smarter that Cats and Dogs. In fact they are supposed to rank 4th in animal intelligence, right behind chimpanzees, dolphins and elephants

Samsung Ad 'The Next Big Thing' [Video]

iPhone 5

It seems Samsung is relentlessly pursuing Apple Fanboys -- going after the iPhone 5. just a few days ago Samsung ran a print ad called ' It doesn't take a genius'. The ad does a comparison between the iPhone 5 and the Samsung Galaxy s III. Well the latest is a video called 'The next big thing is already here' - this time poking fun at the people waiting in line outside the Apple stores wiating to be the first to get their hands on the all new iPhone 5. The video cleverly shows how the Galaxy S 3 already has features that the iPhone 5 will be coming with and some features that have not yet come to the iPhone. For instance the large screen that the iPhone 5 is getting is already there on the S3, 4G LTE connectivity already available. Samsung also references the phone as 'GS3' bringing about the hip quotient. The biggest dog seems to be the guy who is waiting in line reserving a spot for his parents. This jibe at the iPhone 5 to show that the next big thing is already here and the iPhone 5 is already old before it comes out. So will the ad have an impact, let us know in the comments section below.

Mars Curiosity Rover Landing on Mars Video [Aug 5, 2012]

Middle or a Mars crater: Source

I arrive on the red planet on Aug 5, says the Twitter account of the NASA team. This video or the Mars Curiosity Rover provides a fascinating glimpse of the miraculous landing of Curiosity on Mars. In a tweet about the event NASA had this to say 'Look out below! What descent to the surface of Mars looked like from my POV'. The video is fascinating and the YouTube account that uploaded the video had this to say 'The Curiosity Mars Descent Imager (MARDI) captured the rover's descent to the surface of the Red Planet. The instrument shot 4 fps video from heatshield separation to the ground'. The video is phenomenal in that it showcases an event in history that will be remembered for the technology that is being used to study and observe the red planet.

Curiosity is a full functional mobile-science lab sent to another planet. Which is why NASA scientists have said that it has been the most challenging and elaborate achievement in the history or robotic-flight. The daredevil decent of Curiosity enclosed in a capsule-like protective shell. Took eight months to finally streak through Martian atmosphere at 17 times the speed of sound. The landing is nothing short of spectacular and something to be seen. to follow more from the Curiosity team on Twitter you can follow them @MarsCuriosity

Charlie Sheen would have stayed on Twitter it the founders had called and thanked him

Charlie Sheen talking about why he quit Twitter
Charlie Sheen talking about why he decided to quit Twitter

That's right folks, Charlie in an interview with Extra confessed that he has quiet Twitter even though his follower count was coming up to 8 million. He further said that he felt it was an invasion of security and privacy. He said that the whole Twitter thing reminded him about his past and the words he made famous like Tiger-blood and Winning. Winning still applies he said as that can be seen with his new TV-Show 'Anger Management'. But Twitter kept digging into his past and he also says that he did not make a dime with his Twitter account. Yes, people were approaching him to promote stuff in exchange for $ but he did not do it he says. Some good-old fashion fun is what he likes. The guys who run Twitter did not call him even once to say 'Thanks You'. Thanks for putting us on the map. If he ever returns he would with the S in Sheen changed to $. Kind of like Kardashianville. Make the bucks and to hell with everybody. Watch the video below and see for yourself.

No Church In The Wild video released by Kanye West and Jay-Z

No Church In The Wild is now trending on Twitter and after you watch the video you will not be surprised, as to why. The video by Kanye West & Jay-Z featuring Frank Ocean & The-Dream draws inspiration from all the Occupy Wall street and other protests that have made international news. Last October Kanye West appears in the Occupy Wall street protests in Manhattan and although there for a brief time the experience must have shown him what happens when people and police clash. The title of the song itself has a lot to say. When you out there and protesting anything can happen. Innocent people can get pepper sprayed and a lot of others can get hurt. The video itself shows damage caused by both protesters and cops.

The video was shot in Prague and shows both protesters and cops at war. The clip is quite savage and depicts what happens when the cops and protesters clash. The video does not take sides and has over 200 extras divided into cops and protesters. The video was released just a few hours ago. Started trending after director Romain Gavras tweeted about the video.

Facebook Interests Lists: How does it work

Facebook has a new feature and it can be found on the left-hand sidebar of your news feed. Clicking on it will allow you to create a list of people, pages and friends you would like to follow as a separate list. Now this new feature works in a similar fashion to 'Lists' found on Twitter. On Twitter if you want to follow a specific group of people you can group them into a list. Once you click on that list you get all the Tweets from only these specific people. Thereby reducing Twitter noise and first reading only Tweets from these people. These are your favorite people on Twitter. Facebook Interests will function in a similar fashion. You create a list of people you would like to follow. You have three main categories to choose from - 1. Subscriptions 2. Pages 3. Friends.

How to create a list on Facebook Interests

2. Click on the Facebook icon to go to your news feed
3. Go all the way down till you see 'Interests'

8. Name your list
9. Set the privacy options - either public, only friends or only you
10. Click 'Done' and you're done.

Note: You can also use the search box to add people to your list. So if you have not yet subscribed to anyone as yet on Facebook. You can do so from the search box and add people to your Interests Lists. Please check the video below for a more detailed look into create Facebook Interests. Tennis player screams 'God' - thunder erupts

This video is currently doing the rounds on Reddit. It's an old video and posted way back in 2007 - you're saying this is so yesterday and yes it is. There is just problem however there was no Reddit and Redditors to comment on it way back then. Reddit is now and this video has found a place and a voice in 2012. Reddit is filled with people who talk religion and therefore this video now makes a lot of sense. Redditors and and their large community of atheists. Whatever be the context this video can be funny or ironic depending on how you look at it. Seguso swears God and thunder erupts in the heavens, he actually stops and looks at the skies. a must watch.

Poe Toaster - Nevermore

A tradition started as far back as the 1940's has now come to an end. The famed toaster would arrive on the night on January 19 - the birth-date of Edgar Allen  Poe and leave 3 red roses and a half empty bottle of cognac. he would be dressed on a black frock, black wide-rimmed hat and a white scarf. This has been happening at least from the 1940's and fans of the tradition would arrive to watch the spectacle. Poe House and Museum Curator Jeff Jerome said that die-hard fans waited hours past the arrival time of the toaster but he failed to show, thus ending a long tradition. Jerome also said that one tradition might have does but a new one might have started. With fans coming to the graveside monument to read tributes. The Grave is located at Baltimore's Westminster Hall and his wife, cousin and object of his literary ardor, Virginia, is placed near him as well.
