Facebook has partnered with McAfee to offer free antivirus to it's 350 million users free for a period of 6 months. After which you can still use it provided you pay a discounted annual fee. This is helpful but a far cry from real protection. To make sure your account is not compromised it is really up to the user. User's need to be able to recognize security threats to their accounts.
