YouTube has launched Moderator. Opening new avenues for channel owners to interact with their audience in a more direct manner. Up until now the only way people could interact with a channel was through the comments section and channel owners could not easily interact with their audience en-mass.  Now channel owners can ask questions to their audience and poll votes. Giving them the next idea and clue as to what video to create and upload next. The audience can also submit their reviews and ideas to channel owners thus increasing communication between channel owners and their audience. Video: After Facebook Pakistan has now blocked YouTube

After a page appeared on Facebook called "Draw The Prophet Mohammed" people in Pakistan have started protesting against Facebook. Claiming the in Islam no one draws the prophet as it is blasphemous. Facebook in Pakistan has over 3 million users who are now not able to visit their favorite site. In addition to the protests against Facebook the protesters are now including other countries and well last and not least YouTube. YouTube has been accused of running blasphemous videos on the net. YouTube new redesign features

YouTube has gone through a complete redesign with a view to keep all of us watching longer. There is also a lot more interactivity and sharing options. Most of what you used to see on the left of the video has now been moved below the video. You can also share a video now with a single click on Facebook. Twitter, Myspace, Orkut, StumbleUpon, LiveSpaces, Hi5 And Bebo. You can also share by email. For those of you who use the embedding options which used to be on the right. It is now found below the video. With regards to user comments. The comment with the highest rating is now featured prominently above all the other comments. Additional information about the video is also consolidated below the video. This is a very subtle change but noticeable for long time YouTube users.
