  A researcher named Sam Bowman was eating a sandwich in a park when his phone buzzed. It was an email. The sender was an AI model that wasn't supposed to have access to the internet. Facebook Civilization Game to start beta testing in June.

Sid Meier’s Civilization is coming to Facebook and the open beta will begin in June. The game in which you have to build a civilization up from scratch over a periods of thousands of years will start beta-testing this June on Facebook. The Game on Facebook will allow members to invite their friends and go build the coolest civilization. Not much is known about the Facebook version of the game but below we have added what Sid has said about it.
