The announcement was made by Tim Cook at the WWDC 2013. iTunes Radio is essentially a music streaming service which takes your likes and dislikes into account. The music that gets streamed to your device will take into account the genre of music you like and is customized accordingly. iTunes Radio can access the entire iTunes catalog, which means you have a choice of over 26 million songs to be streamed to your device.
