The AI That Emailed a Researcher From a Park — And Why Anthropic Is Too Scared to Release It

  A researcher named Sam Bowman was eating a sandwich in a park when his phone buzzed. It was an email. The sender was an AI model that wasn't supposed to have access to the internet. Google ditches Windows citing security concerns

It started after Google's Chinese operation were hacked and from early January Google has been working to phase out Windows operating systems internally. It has been reported that Google is moving all of it's 20,000 employees worldwide either onto  Apple Mac OS, Linux or it's own Chrome operating system. Google believes that the vulnerability of Windows was the reason why the Chinese hack was possible in the first place.  The move however is a nice boost for Linux but is unlikely to cause any worry to Microsoft too much. 9 out of every 10 computers in the world run on the Windows Operating System.
