Now that the new Timeline has been rolled out to everyone. You might be wondering how to upload videos to the Timeline. This question might arise because when you click on the status box and want to upload a video you do not find the upload link. The solution or workaround is actually fairly easy and this is what you need to do.
How to I upload or add videos to my Facebook Timeline
1. Login to Facebook
2. Click on your name to land on your Timeline
3. Click onside the status bar
4. now click on 'Photo'
5. Click on upload 'Video'
6. Click on 'Choose File' to upload a video from your PC, SmartPhone, tablet or other device
7. Click on post and you're done.
You can also use the link 'Use webcam' to upload directly from your webcam

IF IT AINT BROKEN!! DONT FIX IT!!! (means why fuck up things that work) ???? thinking about the new timeline and the old way of uploading..
You know if it a large video it can take time, even after being uploaded FB still needs to convert it into various formats. So your pals using their phones, iPads and other gadgets get to see it. Converting it on encoding it sometimes take a lot of time. Once done it will be available in all the various video player formats.

ReplyDeleteBelow the video on youtube click the share button and then choose the fb share button and share it on your profile. if you have Timeline enabled it will appear there and also on your news feed.
The other way is to highlight the URL when you get the video to play. The URL of the video appears in the taskbar and looks like this www.youtube.com followed by a string of characters. Click once it turns blue to show that it's highlighted. right-click and select copy or use ctrl + C. Then click inside your status bar, right-click and choose paste or crtl + v. Your video gets highlighted. You can delete the URL and then write a comment. Click on post and you're done. Your video appears with the play button. Hope this helps. Do let me know
