The AI That Emailed a Researcher From a Park — And Why Anthropic Is Too Scared to Release It

  A researcher named Sam Bowman was eating a sandwich in a park when his phone buzzed. It was an email. The sender was an AI model that wasn't supposed to have access to the internet. The model was Claude Mythos Preview. The company that built it is Anthropic. Facebook 3.1.1 iPhone app now available.

Facebook has issued two updated to it's native iPhone App store application. Version 3.1 which was released on Wednesday added push notifications for several different categories and added address book syncing. A small update was issued to version 3.1 that included bug fixes in address book syncing.


Push notifications can now be received for new messages, wall posts, friend requests, friend confirmations, photo tags, events and comments.


The bug in version was reported in version 3.0 after Facebook said that the old API's would be turned off on Tuesday.


Well within 24 hours another version had hit us with 3.1.1 for the iPhone. Which the update is a minor one it address and fixes a few bugs. So if you use Facebook alot on the old iPhone you need to go to the App store and hit the update button
