The Trump-Xi Beijing Summit: What the Smiling Handshakes Won't Tell You

On Thursday, Donald Trump will walk into the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, shake Xi Jinping's hand, and declare it a great meeting. There will be announcements. There will be numbers — billions of dollars in Chinese purchase commitments, a new bilateral mechanism with an important-sounding name, possibly a joint statement on Iran. Trump will post on Truth Social. Markets will rally briefly. Pundits will argue about who won. None of that will tell you what actually happened. What is actually happening in Beijing this week is something more consequential and more uncomfortable than the summit theatre will reveal: two leaders of two deeply mutually dependent superpowers, both of whom need this meeting to succeed for entirely different reasons, sitting across a table in a world that has already moved past the assumptions that defined their last nine months of negotiations. How to hide or unhide friends on Facebook.

To hide a friend's News Feed from your wall

1. Simply mouse over to the end of the News feed
2. A 'Hide this post' button appears
3. Click it
4. You are asked 'Hide (Friends name) ' or cancel
5. Click on Hide if you are sure
6. Your Done

How to unhide a friend and let their News Feed appear on your wall again. Sometimes people click on the hide friend accidentally and would like to remove it later.

1. Scroll all the way down to the bottom of your News Feed (Homepage)
2. Click on 'Edit Options" Found on the extreme right
3. Beside the "hide post from" you see a list of the people who you have click the "hide post from"
4. All the friends you have hidden appear
5. Click the (X) button beside the name of the person you want to have appear on your news feed again
6. Your Done
