  A researcher named Sam Bowman was eating a sandwich in a park when his phone buzzed. It was an email. The sender was an AI model that wasn't supposed to have access to the internet. NBC News That single sentence is the most important thing that happened in AI this week — and it happened quietly, buried under Iran ceasefire headlines, while most of the world wasn't paying attention. The model was Claude Mythos Preview. The company that built it is Anthropic. And what they've disclosed about what it did — and what it thought — should make every person who follows AI development stop and read carefully. And you might be wondering why?, and the answer is that Eddie Murphy will be hosting the Oscars and it's now official. The Eddie Murphy camp has been wanting to get the word out to receive his career since he has been experiencing a slump for a long time. The Oscars is not till next yeah but hey the excitement for Eddie Murphy fans on Twitter is a whole other thing. The closest competition came from Billy Crystal who also expressed interest in hosting the Oscars again. Eddie Murphy himself was nominated for a Oscar in 2006 for the movie Dreamgirls. By selecting a comedian the academy is returning to its comic roots. Eddie Murphy will host the 84th Academy Awards which will  telecast on Feb 26th.
