Ali Larijani Assassinated: The Fall of Iran’s Practical Leader

  On Tuesday, March 17, 2026, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed the elimination of Ali Larijani , the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council. After hours of silence, Tehran’s state-run Tasnim and Fars news agencies confirmed his death, labeling him a "martyr." Larijani was widely considered the most experienced and practical operator remaining in the Iranian leadership following the February 28 strikes that killed the previous Supreme Leader. 1. Facebook 3.1.1 iPhone app now available.

Facebook has issued two updated to it's native iPhone App store application. Version 3.1 which was released on Wednesday added push notifications for several different categories and added address book syncing. A small update was issued to version 3.1 that included bug fixes in address book syncing. Push notifications can now be received for new messages, wall posts, friend requests, friend confirmations, photo tags, events and comments. The bug in version was reported in version 3.0 after Facebook said that the old API's would be turned off on Tuesday. Well within 24 hours another version had hit us with 3.1.1 for the iPhone. Which the update is a minor one it address and fixes a few bugs. So if you use Facebook alot on the old iPhone you need to go to the App store and hit the update button An original post by Sociolatte
