What are the criteria for becoming a YouTube Partner.
1. You need to first express the desire to earn money from your videos.
2. You should regularly upload videos to YouTube and these videos should be popular either online or other ways such as DVDs. You need to have popular videos.
3. You need to be 18 and above or have a parent or legal guardian's consent to participate.
4. There is no official threshold or numbers that you have to meet to qualify.
How to make money on YouTube and How much money can you make.
Once your accepted into the YouTube partner program you can choose to show ads on your videos or offer your videos for rent. If you choose to offer your videos for rent no ads will be shown on your videos and you can pick the price and duration of your video. If you choose to show ads with your videos, ads will be shown at the bottom of your video. I am sure we are all familiar with these ads seen at the bottom of YouTube videos.
