Oprah Winfrey to end TV talk show in 2011

Oprah Winfrey has announced that she will be ending her popular daytime talk show when her contract ends on Sept 2011. The show that brought the highest number of viewers was when she had a sit down with Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. Oprah has been a real crowd puller and has proved she can move people to vote, give to charity and what not. The latest buss is that she is teaming with Discovery Networks to launch The Oprah Winfrey Show (OWS) which she will help program. It may go live in 2011. This is the end of an era of day time talk shows. It is going to be difficult to replace her or for others shows to gain this kind of momentum anytime soon.
