Eddie Murphy now trending on Twitter
And you might be wondering why?, and the answer is that Eddie Murphy will be hosting the Oscars and it's now official. The Eddie Murphy camp has been wanting to get the word out to receive his career since he has been experiencing a slump for a long time. The Oscars is not till next yeah but hey the excitement for Eddie Murphy fans on Twitter is a whole other thing. The closest competition came from Billy Crystal who also expressed interest in hosting the Oscars again. Eddie Murphy himself was nominated for a Oscar in 2006 for the movie Dreamgirls. By selecting a comedian the academy is returning to its comic roots. Eddie Murphy will host the 84th Academy Awards which will telecast on Feb 26th. "I am enormously honored to join the great list of past Academy Awards hosts, from Hope and Carson to Crystal, Martin, and Goldberg, among others," Eddie Murphy.
