It is a simple function where you can retweet a friends message to all your contacts. You find a cool quote and would like to share it acoss your network Simply retweet it. Right now the feature is only available on twitter.com. But should come to the favourite twitter client soon.
Curently when you click on the retweet button you are asked "retweet to your followers?". If you click the X button next to it. The option closes.
Retweets works via sms too
