Social Game maker Zynga Inc gets 180 million

Digital Sky Technologies that already has a share in popular social network Facebook has bought $180 Mil in Zynga that runs popular social games Mafia Wars and farmville. The popular game maker makes money by selling virtual currency to it's games in exchange for various tools that helps the gamers progress faster.

The Russian company has poured the money into Zynga Inc showing their determination to get in on the Social Gaming scene.

Chief Executive Mark Pincus said that the money would elevate the pressure to go public and enable Zynga to add more employees and buy more game studios. Previously Facebook had said that Farmville was bigger than the whole of Twitter.
