For a number of reasons Facebook may shut down, disable or make temporarily unavailable an account. It could be because an account is suspect of inappropriate behavior like some sort of harassment, advertising, marketing, dating. All of these in access can get your account disabled. Things like harassment have zero tolerance on Facebook. That is what they say and it is quiet difficult to track but once tracked down an account will be disabled.
If your account has been hacked or phished Facebook will shut it down there are appropriate channels to contact them and get it sorted out. Whatever the reason maybe accounts get disabled and you need to contact Facebook to get the issue resolved and sorted out.
