This additional map will show you where your friends are in relation to you. Users can also view popular locations nearby on the updated spots view. The map can also be zoomed out to see popular places around the world. Tapping on a spot brings up more information, including photographs and comments left there.
This feature helps users plan a trip or simple see the world through the eyes of a friend.
