How to edit your online videos with YouTube Video Editor

You can now edit your YouTube videos online with the new YouTube video editor. You can now cut and crop your videos, add and mash a number of videos together or simply do an audio swap. You can now edit your videos in the cloud and create a whole new video. It's really very simple as simple as drag and drop cut and paste.

There are also a very help videos to give you a sense of the new editor and to help you get started. We have added those videos to this post as a quick guide to get you on your way.

When you swap the music on your Videos you do not need to worry about copyright as that is taken care of by YouTube and Ads are shown on your video to compensate the recording company.

What does the video editor allow you to do

Without installing any software, it allows you to:

  • Combine multiple videos you’ve uploaded to create a new longer video

  • Trim the beginning and/or ending of your videos

  • Add soundtracks from our AudioSwap library of tens of thousands of songs

  • Create new videos without worrying about file formats and publish them to YouTube with one click -- no upload necessary

So if you have a number of videos from your last vacation you can combine all of them to make one large video presentation of the whole thing. Same goes for wedding videos. Helps you make a nice presentation and bring out the moments you actually care about.
