Big Tech's Day of Reckoning: What the Meta and Google Verdicts Really Mean

In the span of just 48 hours this week, two separate juries in two different US states delivered verdicts that could reshape the entire social media industry — not because of the dollar amounts involved, but because of what those verdicts legally establish for the first time. On Tuesday, March 24, a jury in Santa Fe, New Mexico ordered Meta to pay $375 million for failing to protect children from sexual exploitation on Facebook and Instagram. Less than 24 hours later, on Wednesday, March 25, a jury in Los Angeles found both Meta and Google (YouTube) liable for engineering addiction in young users — finding them negligent in the design of their platforms and awarding a further $6 million in damages. Zynga Vampire Wars has just announced a new Vampire Wars YouTube contest and a chance to win 500 favor points. Please find below the rules from the official release of the contest.




Got love for Vampire Wars? Want to Win 500 Favor Points? Here’s your chance to show everyone your passion for the game.

Re-enact your favorite mainstream media Vampire Movie, TV Show or Vampire Character. Your video can take any format: animation, slideshow, live action or any combination. It must be about Vampires or something in the Vampire Genre.

Zynga reps will chose a grand prize winner who will win 500 Favor Points. The second runner up will get 250 Favor Points and the third runner up will receive 125 Favor Points.
