Platinum Ninja has shared on the official YoVille blog the rules and guidelines for the YoVille summer 2010 clothing design contest. You would need to design a YoVille summer outfit to enter the chance to win Yo Cash and have your creation showcased in the game. Please find the official release of the contest below to help you get started.
We recently gathered some of your feedback and suggestions on certain Summer Clothing that you would like to see in YoVille this Summer. Through this thread we have seen some awesome player clothing creations and decided that we wanted to give you ALL the opportunity to enter some of these designs to win some prizes and even see your outfit in game
We will be allowing players to submit their best design of a Summer Girl Outfit and Summer Boy Outfit and our team will be choosing our top 20 favorites (10 Girl Outfits and 10 Boy Outfits). We’ll then let everyone vote on their favorite Summer Girl and Boy Outfits and the entry with the highest votes will make it in game and win some awesome prizes! Rules and Guidelines
1) Please place your entry on the Summer Clothing Contest Entry Threadand keep your discussions about this contest on the Summer Clothing Contest Discussion Thread. Your entry MUST be placed on the Summer Clothing Contest Entry Thread or it will not be counted.
2) Player are only able to Enter ONE Summer Girl Outfit and ONE Summer Boy Outfit. Entering more than one of each will disqualify you from this contest.
3) Spamming your entry or creating duplicate posts will not be allowed
4) All designs must be original, please do not copy and paste other player’s ideas or entries, etc. This will be an immediate disqualification.
5) Entries will be accepted from July 8th@ 12 PM PST (Pacific Standard Time) until July 12th @ 12 PM PST (Pacific Standard Time)
How to Enter
Step 1
We want to see what your outfit will look like on a Yoville avatar so the first thing you will need to do is find an avatar to create the outfit for, this can be your own avatar or another avatar found on Yoville.com or in game. Then take a screenshot of that avatar. To take a Screenshot on a PC (Hold down CTRL, ALT, PRTSC) and on a MAC (Hold Down Command and SHIFT 3)
Step 2
Then go to Paint or PhotoShop or any type of image editing program you have installed on your computer and Paste your Screen shot. From here please use the tools provided to edit your image and design your outfit. You may have to crop to remove any unnecessary parts of your screen shot so you only have the avatar to work with. Have fun with it!! Don’t be afraid to use color or get creative! Make sure to save along the way!!
Step 3
Next you are going to have to upload your image to an Image hosting site like Tinypic or Photobucket. If you do not already have an account you will need to create one. Once that you have uploaded your picture to your account your image will be given links and codes for the image. Make sure to Copy the IMG Code provided for your image.
Step 4
Paste your IMG code into the Summer Clothing Contest Thread. Please note that this thread is ONLY for submissions. Any discussions about the contest belongs HERE . Keeping these two threads separate will help us be able to sort through entries when choosing the Top 20 entries.

Make sure to stick to the rules We’ll be announcing the top winners after the contest is completed and will be allowing you to vote as soon as our team chooses our favorites.
