The Trump-Xi Beijing Summit: What the Smiling Handshakes Won't Tell You

On Thursday, Donald Trump will walk into the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, shake Xi Jinping's hand, and declare it a great meeting. There will be announcements. There will be numbers — billions of dollars in Chinese purchase commitments, a new bilateral mechanism with an important-sounding name, possibly a joint statement on Iran. Trump will post on Truth Social. Markets will rally briefly. Pundits will argue about who won. None of that will tell you what actually happened. What is actually happening in Beijing this week is something more consequential and more uncomfortable than the summit theatre will reveal: two leaders of two deeply mutually dependent superpowers, both of whom need this meeting to succeed for entirely different reasons, sitting across a table in a world that has already moved past the assumptions that defined their last nine months of negotiations. YoVille Room Contest length extended

Platinum Ninja on the official YoVille blog says in a post. Since many players have complained that they found out about the contest a little too late and hence have been unable to enter. The solution from YoVille is all further Room Contest will be extended for a period of two weeks rather than just 1 week as is currently available. 

"Wanted to give you all a quick heads up as we roll into the next room contest and will be making some changes to the end dates of these contests :)

We know that there are many of you that find out about a contest too late or need that extra time to save up some coins to create the perfect room so we have extended the length of the Room Contests. Going forward the Room Contests are going to last for a total of two weeks instead of one week to give to give you some extra cushion time!!

Don’t forget that the “Best Convenience Store” contest is almost over so make sure to check it out and submit yours before it ends! Also make sure to vote for all of your favorites. The next contest is going to be the “Best Classroom” and will last for two weeks so if you want to get a jump start get decorating. Also wanted to let you all know the one following the Best Classroom will be “Best Campground” which will kick off in two weeks so you can prepare and start saving for that one as well!
